Caskets and Shrouds

We practice eco-forestry on Sacred Earth Foundation lands which keep our pine and oak forests healthy and provide us we with an abundance of beautiful and useable pinewood. With the formation of the White Eagle Burial Ground, we now find a new use for our sustainibly harvested pine: the provision pinewood caskets.

Our caskets are hand made with a glue and wood doweling technique. They can be simple or fancy . . . your choice. They are made by Bob, one of the White Eagle trustees. Prices start at $500.00.

What we recommend however, are shrouds. Hand made, natural and biodegradeable, the ycan be made at home out of a favorite quilt perhaps or you can buy one from Chris . . . our shroud maker. Her prices range from $200.00 to $400.00. Shrouds are a much more personal and intimate way of burying your loved one. After experiencing several shroud burials, all of us here have chosen it for our own desired way of returning to Earth one day.
